-1 pound of steak (such as sirloin, flank or skirt)

-4 tablespoons of olive oil

-1 tablespoon of minced garlic

-1 tablespoon of dried oregano

-1 tablespoon of red wine vinegar

-1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley

-1/4 cup of chopped fresh cilantro

-Salt and pepper to taste

-4 hamburger buns

Equipment Needed:

-Sharp knife

-Mixing bowl

-Grill or grill pan

Cook Time:

-15 minutes to prepare the steak

-10 minutes to cook the steak


  1. Begin by preparing the Chimichurri sauce. In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic, oregano, red wine vinegar, parsley, cilantro, salt and pepper. Mix until all the ingredients are well combined.
